Openings Data & Statistics Engineer Proteus Biomedical, Inc. is seeking a Data and Statistics Engineer for our Redwood City, CA facility. An individual contributor responsible for the processing and statistical summary of sensor and clinical data. Proven ability to process large data sets and generate well-written reports and presentations. Responsible for the support of internal sensor development, clinical trial operations and FDA reports. Responsibilities: Develop data processing algorithms/scripts for R&D and clinical data Design experiments, collect data, analyze results, and write summary reports Work with multi-variate physiological data (ECG, accelerometry, etc) Evaluate and analyze product performance to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines Other duties as required Required skills: Entry-mid level engineer with statistical data processing experience in Matlab. Graduate work may substitute for work experience. Demonstrated ability to solve challenging problems and work with minimal supervision and guidance Extensive experience in mathematical modeling, statistics and data analysis using Matlab Experience interfacing with SQL databases a plus Expertise in the latest statistical processing techniques Previous experience developing signal processing algorithms for biomedical, physiologic monitoring applications is highly desired.
